Hello! I'm Rich Wisler, the photographer for Rich Wisler Photography. My home is
in Kirkland Washington, USA. Kirkland is on the east side of Lake Washington and
just a few miles from Seattle. This photo was taken in Juanita Bay Park in Kirkland
where I do much of my wildlife photography. This preserved wetland and wildlife
area is a rich resource for photographers and those who enjoy observing wildlife in
their natural environment.
Kirkland has been my home since 1987. Prior to that, I lived in Eugene Oregon for
ten years. I was born and raised in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Pottstown was best
known for Kiwi Shoe Polish, Mrs. Smith Pies, and Bethlehem Steel.
My interest in wildlife and nature photography has grown as I spend more time
developing the skills needed in this special area. Photographing wildlife gives me a
great reason to spend time outside and enjoy creation. Scenic or landscape
photography is another are of interest and provides more opportunity to enjoy this
hobby.
Using my photographs, I have developed several presentations that display the
wonders of God's creation by looking at the fifth day of creation through
photography. These presentations examine feathers, flying, nesting and other
unique characteristics of birds and water fowl. All presentations include slide shows
and interesting facts about these wildlife.
